So pretty. I was thinking of doing one with the flowers of the month of my family( birthday month )...Did you have to do a y seam...that`s what is holding me back from attempting it...however you did a wonderful job...

No, I did not have to the Y seam, it made it extremely easy. although I have been practicing the Y seam. I could email you the instructions if you like with pictures of how it is done.

That is wonderful. I like the idea of doing the flowers of the month of the people in my family. I will have to give that some thought. If I know me, five years from now I will still be pondering it.

SO PRETTY!....I have been inspired to attempt an attic window by both you and IowaGal's cats in the wondows. I've avoided this pattern because of the Y seam but saw on Simply Quilts recently that they made the corner (Y seam) into a half square triangle and made it do-able. I love the water lilies and daisies the best but all are very beautiful.

The Flower attic window is b e a u t i f u l!!!

I love flower prints and have quite a few in my stash--great idea for someday when I get the time to try that pattern!
