For the cat lover

We have a client who takes in stray/homeless cats, vets them then finds them homes, all out of her own pocket. She gave me a box of old fAbrics when she cleaned out her moms house after she passed. I did this for her out of that fabric. I designed it myself!

I love this, and I don't care for cats, but this would find a perrrfect place in my home.

Iowagal, this is a lovely quilt. I won't show this one to my daughter (cat lover) she would never leave me alone if I didn't try to make her one also.

IowaGal what a great quilt. Where did you get the patterns for the cats? I would love to do a quilt like that. And yes I love Cats. Thanks for sharing.

DH claims to be a cat hater, but when our Cuddles broke her leg in 3 places, he was on the ball and took her to the vet's, and paid $300+ for the pins, antibiotic, etc. for her. This is the same cat that when she was a kitten, he didn't think she was growing enough (her full sister was a lot bigger than her!), so he took her to the vet's and she got some special stuff we had to put on her paw so she would lick it..... yeah, I would call that a cat hater!

It is so cute! I like your butterflies for the cats to chase. I haven't done an attic window pattern yet. . I like your use of light and darks. . .it really looks like the sun is shining in.
