OK how does this work
I will give this a try. First picture is a quilt I made for my 5 year old grandson. I made all the "parts" and he laid it out in this design.

I really like the star quilt. I have reds/whites/blues fabric I bought 2 years ago but have not made anything with it yet. I think I'll try a star quilt. I love seeing everyones quilts. It's inspiring.

I love the rust colored quilt. Is it sewn like a bargello quilt with strips at different levels? And the leaves. . .great idea!

Yes, the Falling Leaves background is using a very simple "Stairstep" pattern. Then adding the leaves was inspired by the fall season in Upstate NY. My teenage granddaughter helped me with the layout. She even did a bit of the stippling ... I was happy with the way it turned out. The friend who got it loved it, so what can be better.....
