I keep in pretty close contact with chickie. Since her series of strokes five years ago, she really struggles with life, but hangs in there, cooks and sews. She turns 80 on November 12. Her family had a big party at the community center in their little town in Kansas on Saturday, November 8. Here she is with all of the little greats born into the family in the last five years. Three are missing from the picture because they live in Michigan. And another (in Michigan) will be born before the end of this year. I think that makes a total of 14 great grand babies in 5 years. And she makes a quilt for each of them when they were born, for their first Christmas, and first birthday, so you can see how busy she is in her sewing room.

Thank you all for the birthday wishes! All of these little ones started arriving January 2020, and we will have #14 by end of year. They make me so happy when they raid my freezer for the cookie stash I keep for them or they love their quilts. I love all the hugs and cuddles. Great grandma with the peacock and orchid in her hair is pretty cool.

I'll try to keep in touch better, but the computer screen gives my brain fits. Thanks to MaryZ for posting this!

Happy Birthday Chickie So good to see you. I have you on my prayer list...hope the vertigo goes away one day and you are fit as a fiddle. I had vertigo and had to go for therapy to fix it..it is a pain to live with. You look great and all those littles look so cute,,,Instead of chickie we need to call you GG mother hen having all the little chickies around you. love and hugs XXXXOOOOO
