katy, you quilt is gorgeous, very good job.....And the celery, WOW...Being an old farmer girl, I did not know how or have never planted celery....AND would you believe, while shopping, I forgot to pick up celery this morning.......

KATY - your quilt is wonderful! I love the fabrics! It looks so cozy and comforting - and farmy. I grew up on a farm and we had chickens. It brings back fun and happy memories. And thank you for the celery picture!! I've always wondered how it grew. So when we buy it in the store, the stalks are all tight together. Do they just smash them together when they harvest it or do the stalks compress when the plant gets bigger, or?? Yes, these are the kinds of questions that keep me awake at night! :lol:
