Quilt in a Day Forums

It’s finished! A 42 inch wall hanging by Pacific Rim Quilt company. I ordered the pattern from Maui Quilt Shop in Wailuku, Hawaii. As well as the backing Fabric. The colors are a bit muted in the photos.

The quilting is echo Hawaiian Quilting, which is traditionally done by hand, but I cheated and did it by machines. I accented all the blossoms with sequins and seed beads and that I DID do by hand. And It’s for me!!

So pretty! The beading on flowers really set them off. Will another quilt come down for this to have a spot or do you still have an empty wall for this one?

LYN, yes, another wall quilt will have to come down to accommodate this new one. But it's been there for many years so I think maybe it's time for a replacement.
