Butterfly quilt

Here is my butterfly quilt. The pattern is by Elizabeth Hartman. It’s 84 in.². I made it completely from my stash. The backing fabric is purple with butterflies all over it. It's for Sammy, the young girl my daughter, Autumn mentors. Sammy loves butterflies and the color purple. And I will never ever make this pattern again!!

It is gorgeous! But I can see why it's a never to be made again pattern pile!

Lori, I think Sammy will be 19. I taught her to sew when she was 13. She loves sewing and quilting, and any kind of art.

Wow, that is really pretty Mary. But yes, I can see that is a lot of pieces. I would have to think long and hard on that one. You did a great job though, now that your experienced, UHM?
