Amara’s Cross-stitched Christmas stocking

Post by purrfect-lady » Fri Nov 24, 2023 8:39 am

I started this stocking February 1, two months before Amara's birth. It took me nine months and three weeks to stitch. I wrote a note to her on the inside lining for her to read every year at Christmas. 💗 It measures about 14 inches top to bottom, and it took about 20,000 stitches. I loved doing it for her but I’m so glad it’s finished!!

Words are a understatement for all the work in that beautiful stocking! A family heirloom indeed. Amara is one very loved little girl!

Mary, that is truly a work of art to be treasured for years to come. I see now why it took so many stitching hours.

OMG MaryZ, it is gorgeous 😍. So much detail. Amara will love it and as she gets older to understand all the work, she will love it more❣️
