Design wall, Starry Night, Lotto

Here is my new design wall. I have put a few things on it.

Thinking I should have pressed some of those lotto blocks! Wish they stayed pressed in the mail.

VAL - I'm loving your quilt! Nice job! For your borders, will you just extend the background or will you use a different fabric?

Valerie, I love both of your projects. The Starry Night is so beautiful with the dark background ( than the light one like on the pattern ). And your flowers lotto blocks, nice colors too. Great jobs!

Mary I will just extend the background. The pattern doesn't call for borders but most of the class put them on so the long armer will have some other than that actual quilt to put the clamps on. I am going to cut them probably at 3". I got the last sashing piece in yesterday and now just have to sew the angel piece on and then the camel piece. I will put it away then until September. Long armer is scheduled for October. Will put the borders on then. I have 108 inch backing so no sewing there.

Starry night is a great quilt. I think borders is a great idea.

If I had it to do over I would make an entire wall a design wall, I love yours.
