String quilt for our church mission project

I was given a big bag of fabric pieces of various sizes. I have been trying to use them since August or September, when I brought the bag home and sorted. My goal was to empty the container. So I chose the string quilt block. I trimmed to 12 1/2" blocks.

This is the lay out with 3" border on each side.
I will start sewing rows together tomorrow.
