OT - Baby Cloth Diaper Project

Post by QuiltGram8 » Sat Oct 09, 2021 3:09 pm

Image

I promised to share a picture, so here it is.

I am making more as soon as I buy more flannel for lining. Making soaker pad inserts with flannel and Terry cloth.

Going to make a few with colored flannel for lining. With colorful polka dots, I thought a couple of them should have different colored lining instead of all white.
But I am making the soaker pads in all white.
I have a bunch of soaker pads cut and ready to sew tomorrow

Vel I am not sure I know what a soaker pad is? Love the polka dots. What a great idea. Better for baby skin and the environment

That looks great Vel. The baby will be very fashionable in that cute diaper.

Soaker pads are absorbing inner pads. Easy to change when it gets wet or soiled. Then outer cover can be worn the rest of the day, hopefully. 😉
I plan to make a stack of inserts with the covers.

Velda, your diaper covers/soaker pads are terrific! Those polka dots are so cute! They look professionally sewn and I'm sure will be so appreciated by a mom who is concerned about the environment! What a good heart you have!
