One of my traditions is to give everyone in my family a beautifully hand done, cross-stitched Christmas stocking. Since each one took a year or more to finish I thought I would get ahead of the game and kept stitching stockings, expecting more than two grand children. The little ones never showed up but it does look like I am going to get a new son-in-law sometime in the near future so I finished off one of those stockings for him, adding his name and assembling the stocking.

It is beautiful. I used to do a lot of counted cross stitch and needlepoint. I have been thinking about starting again. Just what I need another hobby.
