Red White and Blue Swap from 2011

Post by javin22 » Fri Jun 18, 2021 9:33 am

I just finished this quilt from the red white and blue swap from 2011. I am sure some of you remember making blocks for this swap. This is so pretty and I am going to display on the wall for the summertime. Very pretty!

This is so pretty! I love how it turned out. And I see my Block! I think this was one where we did blocks named for our state. My Washington star is upper left-hand corner. Thanks so much for sharing your pretty quote with us

MaryZ yes this swap was where each person did a block for their state or country. I love it!!! It is just gorgeous! I am so happy to have this. Denise was so kind to give her set of blocks to me. I didn't participate in this swap and I was so sorry I missed it. I am not sure why I didn't join in, but I am just thrilled to have this quilt. It is a favorite one for me. :D

So glad you love it! Sarah and I had fun in designing a original block for Utah. We called it Crossroads of the West. It was a paper pieced block. The whole quilt turned out beautiful!
