DWR Table runner

I plan to make a double wedding ring quilt but wanted to get my feet wet first so made this table runner. I used Eleanor’s applique method and pattern from her egg money book. I used a single layer of leftover flannel in place of batting and it gives it a lightweight heft that I prefer to regular batting.

Good job MaryZ. I bet you'll have the big one done in no time. You're one of the fastest quilters I know.

I live this table runner! It's such a great idea to test with a table runner. I will remember to do that next time I want to try something new or uncertain about. Your bed size should be awesome too!! Do you have a color theme chosen?
I have the egg money book. I might have to try a table runner later on this summer, just for fun.
Thanks for sharing your project.
