Yo-yo quilt under construction

I am about 3/4 done with this project. I have seven more strips of yo-yos to hand sew then I can just Finish putting it together. When The top and bottom halves are put together, more yo-yos will be sewn over the seam. About 450 yo-yos In all that I made while traveling through Alaska last summer. I think I will Call this Quilt “an Alaskan summer”. I bought many of the fabrics I used at Quilt Shop’s across Alaska,

Oh my heavens! Not sure what word to use, Awesome, Unbelievable, Fantastic, Amazing, all of them and then some.....It really is going to be a work of art.......Love it!

When I saw this in a magazine years ago, I thought I wanted to make it. That is until I tried yoyo's and hated making them. It will be so pretty when you get it done. I bet it's quite heavy as well.
