Pickles Quilt

My sister found this entire kit in a thrift shop about 10 years ago bought it for me for about five dollars. It has been sitting on a shelf in my sewing room all these years. Last Monday night I dreamed about it all night long so decided maybe I ought to get it finished! It is about 32“ x 42“. The fabric to the right of the picture is the backing. Pickles is one of my favorite comics. And opal is a cat loving quilter so what could be more purrfect!
Sorry it’s sideways. I’m sure it’s operator error. It almost always is.

Love it! The person who created the Pickles cartoon strip is from Utah. He based it on his family here. It is one of my favorites and I swear he had a fly on the wall in our house, spying for ideas! Great thrift shop find!

Oh my heavens, Awesome! Pickles has to be a favorite of mine and as Jana said, there must be a fly on my wall too....The quilt is just perfect......
