The butterfly one, I just took to my brother Lowell for a house warming gift. He just moved to a senior housing building. The butterfly fabric was some leftover fabric that was his and I had it in my stash. The tulip quilt is for my DD Mindy.

Great quilts! I've been trying to decide what I should do for a baby quilt, and the tulip quilt looks like a very good contender.

VINAE, I love both your quilts. Funny, but I was thinking of Lowell yesterday and was going to ask you this morning how he is doing. I know he'll be glad to have this beautiful reminder (made from his own fabrics!) of how much his sister loves him! And I know your DD will also treasure the 'bouquet' you made for her!

Vinae--both quilts are beautiful! Give my best to Lowell. Will he be taking his sewing machine to his new home? I sure hope so! His work is always intriguing as well as beautiful. Love the tulip quilt! It's a lovely spring bouquet! I always enjoy your projects.

I think Lowell will love the butterflies!! He mentioned once here that he likes them. Please tell him we miss his creations. The tulip quilt is very peaceful and spring for sure.
