OT - my new Batt Cave Outhouse - well almost finished

Post by auntjana » Thu May 09, 2019 5:42 pm

Daniel and Aaron have been busy and have the half bath in the Batt Cave almost done. The vanity needs a bit of alteration on one of the drawers to make the plumbing fit and the crystal chandalier needs to be hung. I also have a large/tall industrial looking faucet for the vanity. The open space above the toilet will have barnwood doors that can be opened for maintenance on the railroad track that goes behind that area. Michael was making sure that there is privacy in the outhouse. Oh yes, the big main barn door still needs to be built, but I think that Michael is doing that after Daniel is gone.

This is tucked in under the stairs that go up from the Batt Cave to our main floor.

Thanks for peeking! Maybe my new little quilt will hang on the wall in that room - we will see....

Jana, I love the idea of putting the bathroom under the stairway. Both of our DH's are into trains. You'll love having a bathroom downstairs. Wish we had one that's for sure. Love the rustic look of it too.

JANA, it's really coming together nicely! I love rustic! Will they be able to get it all completely finished before Daniel goes home? (except for the part Michael is doing)

What a great sewing area. Once you go in you won’t need to come out. You can spend the whole day!
