Graduation quilt

Post by karpet » Thu Nov 19, 2009 4:03 pm

Only 6 months late, but it is done. I have a twin quilt top to it that is almost finished - did the stars the same and put them on different backgrounds. We'll see if that one gets finished before the end of the year.

Karlene, That is beautiful. That center star looks like a whole lot of work but it turned out fabulous. Is it done in strips or are the diamonds stitched together one by one? What are the red roses made out of? They look like ribbon roses. I tried to enlarge my screen but still couldn't quite tell. Thanks so much for sharing. Very pretty color choices and your border goes very nicely with it.

God bless and Happy Quilting, hugs, Shirley Mae

Your star looks like it is bursting, kinda like a fireworks.
Very beautiful.

Karlene, that is beautiful! You did a fantastic job. Did you do the quilting or send it out? What size is the center area?....without the
border area.
