#3 Baby Quilt for this year

This one is for my nephew and wife's first son. She said "nothing cutsey" so I tried to match the colors of the nursery. The colors bothered me as not baby enough. So I sneaked in some embroidered teddy bears in the large spaces.

It is a Tossed 9 patch using the Indigo 2 fabric line (which is about to be discontinued)from Connecting Threads. There has been some question on this forum about their quality but I found fabric worked beautifully and has made a quality product. Connecting Threads was the only place I could find the color scheme I wanted.

I have used Connecting thread fabric. It has a good thread count. I find that they don't have the vivid colors. but your quilt is beautiful in those colors. I love it

Love your quilt and choice of colors. Connecting Threads fabrics are also great. Thanks for giving me the idea to make a tossed nine-patch with my fabrics! I only hope mine will be as beautiful!

A great looking quilt for a baby or an adult! I really like the colors and the embroidered teddy bears sure are a cute addition! Congrats on the new baby in the family. :)

Congradulations to new addition to the family and I like your quilt. I like the little bears too. Very nice hand stitching too.
