Here is a DWR for my son for Christmas. He choose the background fabric, "Mossy Oak"

Debbie good job, I have never seen a DWR look masculine but this does. I bet your son loves it.

OMG! What a terrific quilt! I was thinking just today about the DWR pattern and trying to invision other color combos than the traditional with a light background. And here you are with pix of your wonderful creation. I bet your son loves it!! mary z

Debbie, that looks like a lot of work but it turned out great. Very nice choice of colors for a masculine looking quilt. I enlarged the screen on my computer to 200%. That has a lot of detail. I am sure your son will love it, especially if he chose some of the colors.
