This is a wall hanging I just completed! It was machine pieced but I learned to do needle-turn applique and then I hand quilted it. The hand quilted grid in the background is a half inch grid. I had a lot of fun learning to do needleturn applique and found out the right needles make all the difference. I think I am going to hang it in my foyer. This was a Pat Sloan pattern for machine applique that I got as an insert in an APQ magazine sometime back.

Carla, It looks like you've been keeping Aunt Becky very busy. You did a beautiful job on the whole piece. It deserves a place of honor in your home where every one can enjoy it. What's next on the agenda? jan
