My Caribbean Cabin (Pictures Added - Finally!!)

Here's my first log cabin quilt. I used Judy Martin's log cabin book as an inspiration but came up with the pattern myself. It took me 3 months to piece the top which is a looooong time for me, I sew everyday.
The quilt is 97 X 115. There are 80 nine inch log cabin blocks. I designed the center myself but the quilting really sets it off. The border is 12 inches and took forever to get just right!
It was quilted by a professional on a long arm machine.

That is awesome!! You did an excellent job on it! I love the colors, the lay out, the border & the quilting! It makes me want to do one like that.
