yippeeeeeeeee I did it. I was trying to make the picture larger. The new instructions helped Linda. If this quilt has a name please let me know. I thought I made it up and I called it the center cross. I was inspired by the quilt Candy Cane Lane that I saw on Quilt in a Day. I made Candy Cane Lane and thought if I flip it over and then reverse it for the bottom half I will come up with a beautiful quilt and here it is. I did not put borders on it because I like the pattern clear to the edges. Is that okay? I made it long enough to go over the pillows.

Look at Eleanor's Quick Trip Quilt and see if you think that is the one!

It's really beautiful, and I love the colors!!

Your quilt is beautiful. At first I too thought it was Trip Around the World, but it isn't.

Nice thing about quilting is there really aren't any rules. Don't listen to those that say there are rules.

OOH, very pretty! I to0o watched my grandmother quilt, as well as my mom and other members of my family. As far as we know, jut about every woman in my mom's family up to her and her sisters quilted, so it's a family heritage thing:) But I've mostly been teaching myself(due to living 5 hrs. away from my family) and I've found that you can do whatever you want with quilting! I have done a few quilts with the pattern all the way to the edge, including my favorite quilt so far, and at least 1 more in the works. You did just great on this one, and don't feel like you have to put borders on it if you don't want to.
