This winter I took a quilting class at the local community college. All the newbies in the class made a rail fence quilt. I was so pleased that I signed up to take the class again. This time we will be making a sampler quilt, wall hanging. The class starts this Friday.

NewQuilter - you did a great job on your first quilt. I can't wait to see your sampler. Welcome to the world of quilting addiction. There is no 12-step program for this addiction - LOL. Also, there is NO quilt police - I thought you'd find comfort in that - LOL. The good thing about taking a class is that the instructor should be able to give you hints and show you first hand how to do things. I learned all on my own - I bought quilt books. With every quilt I make, I learn something new even now. Quilting is a whole new world for you - enjoy every minute.
