PRAGUE EXHIBITION--Picture links from Inka for the Quilt Show

Post by calicopuzzle » Mon Apr 06, 2009 10:49 am

I will attempt to insert the links for these pictures from Inka. I hope I can do it. I have looked at some of the pictures and they are wonderful quilts...but when they first come on the screen they are slightly blurry...you must wait for just a few seconds for them to clear. Hopefully you will be able to look through them. Calicopuzzle

From Inka:
I have attempted to download the links to browse in the pictures from the Prague International Patchwork Exhibition - the one I decided not to go to (lack of time and finance). I have had a pop into those sets of photographs, have not seen all of them yet. But perhaps you and the ladies from the forum might enjoy them. There are lots of modern tapistry kind of works. I prefer the "classical" ones, the neat and precisely made American quilts like Eleanor Burns makes ....
Love,
Inka

Thank you Inka and Calico. I so enjoyed looking at these. I made one of the quilts my desktop background - the blue and gold spikey one. Of course they were all beautiful quilts - way over my head.

Thank you Inka and Calico!!! Such beautiful workmanship!

Cindyg--I saved the same one for my desktop. Did you see the batik butterfly in the last group? Reminded me of your "Painted Desert" quilt.

The foreign language was interesting too, I noticed that "Picasa" is the same in both languages. LOL
Have Fun,
