Lap quilt for my Auntie Doris

This is a lap quilt for my Auntie Doris. She is in her 80s and has a hard time getting around, so she sits in her chair most of the day. She has always done so many things for others and spends her time making wheel chair bags and giving them away. We'll see her this weekend when we go to visit for Easter, and I'll bring this for a surprise for her. Janie

What a pretty pattern. Your color choices really make it stand out, almost like a 3-D effect. Your aunt will really be surprised and feel so loved and honored that you chose to do this for her. Give her a big hug and tell her Happy Easter. Happy Easter and Happy quilting to you too. Hugs, Shirley Mae

I always feel touched when you ladies come up with those generous ideas of making a quilt for an elderly or sick person! I am pretty sure your auntie will be happy to get it. There is so much love stitched into the the pieces ....

What a lovely quilt and a lovely gift. I am sure your AUnt will be very pleased with it. Quilters have such giving hearts, and you certainly must. I think it is wonderful and can't wait to hear her reaction. Does she live at home?

Great quilt and perfect for someone who sits a lot - not too big, not too little. Good job and sweet of you to do something for your aunt.
