Bear in the Woods Top

This quilt is for my DB. He is celebrating his 50th birthday this month. Needless to say the quilt is not finished. He wants it hand quilted. It measures 95" x 95".

This third picture is the "bonus quilt". lol I made some log cabin blocks and did not like the way they looked in the center so I remade the log cabins for the Bear in the Woods Quilt. This quilt measures 78" X 90".

Great job on both quilts. I love the colors and the quilts. I have that book and need to make it some day.

Quilter7, Wow! That is two gorgeous quilts. The colors really pop on that white background. And to get a bonus quilt while working on another one has to feel really good. You did a very nice job of quilting on both of them. Thanks for sharing. Hugs, Shirley Mae

It turned out lovely!! and I like the bonus quilt too how fun to make a full quilt without even trying

I made this quilt for my son and daughter-in-law. I forgot to take a picture before I wrapped it up. I have asked them several times to take a pic for me but I don't have one yet. Only 3 years. Maybe they don't have it anymore, the way they take care of things anything is possible. Maybe I'll have to make one for myself.
