Sunday Afternoon--Beginning of baby quilt

Here's what I've been up to---between chores and laundry and naps. I had so much fun with the Summer Porch pattern for my quilt for Merryman House in Paducah that I thought I'd try it in the baby fabric. Since we don't know if it's a boy or girl... I saw this fabric at QIAD and got enough to make this quilt with even a little left over for a pillow case or two. This is the rough draft of the blocks, haven't sewn the sashing between yet

Aren't we all busy this weekend with our quilting! LOL
I'm working on a baby quilt this weekend too. Almost done.
I love the primary colors. The baby will be very attached to it I'm sure. You did a great job!

So cute Mary! I like the way you laid out the fabric to form the meeting triangles. I'm going to have to try this pattern after seeing both of your quilts. Looks to be very nice in different prints. Love your blue/white quilt for Paducah!

Wow Mary it's great!!! I love your yellow shaes and how you did you reds and blues, very nice, Amie :oD
