Some small quilts for kids at the hospital

A group from my church is going on Mon to a local hospital to make dinner for the parents staying at the Ronald McDonald House there. I made a few small quilts for them to take down as gifts for the kids that are in the hospital. The label I wrote on the back of each one had our ministry website and "I prayed for you while I made this quilt for you. Jesus loves you and will give you comfort and strength. Love in Christ, Janie." I hope these quilts will make the kids smile and give them a bit of cheer as they recover. I'll make more to take to other hospitals in our area too. When my husband was in the hospital in Aug - Sept last year I brought a quilt from home for his bed and it helped him feel not so alone and comforted him when I wasn't there. I hope it will do that for the kids too.

Beautiful quilts! I'm sure the kids and their parents will be very comforted by these. Great work!!

This is just a wonderful thing to do! My goodness you certainly can accomplish alot. And they are are so pretty and different!

From personal experience, I can tell you the meal will be very much appreciated and I think the kids will love the quilts. God bless you and your missions group.
