Two I Spy quilts

This one is for my soon-to-be great-nephew, Lucas.

This one is for the girl baby of a former co-worker.
I did them both at the same time, it seems to go faster that way. Before I started them, I went through all my charm fabrics and did a cutting marathon. I did this when I first got to OH and didn't have a job yet but even so it took me the better part of a week to get it all cut. But it was worth it, now all I have to do when I want to make another I Spy is pull the pieces out of the shoebox.

You amaze me lil' Sister. You do such a good job and these are just great! Perfect! I love I Spy for kids. Keeps them occupied for a good while. Then when they out grow that they appreciate the effort & work that went into the making of their quilt. Great job!

Huge Hugs

It's so much fun picking out the fabrics, isn't it? You did a great job.

This looks like it could be difficult to piece, was it?

Lee.........thanks for sharing these pictures with us. Your quilts are just beautiful & I'm sure they'll be well loved. Are you still operating the wayward home for scraps?

Really nice! I've made one I Spy of just squares stitched together and then borders and binding. The hexagons are more interesting and there's the secondary pattern of the six-pointed stars.
