Inka's potholder

This is what I finished before Christmas Anyway, this is a proof how I have been looking for "easy" methods - I have used the flying geese technique for this block. However, it was not easy - I got too much bulk at some points and is far from perfect (which annoys me in fact, lol ...). The "problem" with this block would be the set in seams if sewn without "cheating" (then I would have obtained complete orange squares in the corners without seams). The small orange triangles on the sides are chopped off squares ... what a confusion, isn“t it?

Lovely, as usual. Next time you have a thick bunch of seams, smash them with a hammer on the wrong side of the quilt top.
