Mini Charmer

It started off simple enough. I went to my favorite quilt shop to pick up the rest of a bolt of fabric which was on clearance, and maybe a FQ or 2 for some swap blocks I'm working on. On the front counter there were 2 charm collections 40% off. Democracy and Full Moon Forest. I picked up Democracy as they'll blend well with some others I have, but commented that I wasn't sure about the colors of the Full Moon Forest collection. The shop owner, knowing me well, said 'I bet one of your nieces would like a purse in those colors.' She knows me well. I think I stuck out my tongue at her and then said I needed to find 1/2 a yard of something to use for the lining.
When I got home, I asked my niece, who is visiting us this weekend, to pick her favorite 16 charms, then tell me which 3 she liked the best and her least favorite of the ones she picked. The 3 favorite became the front pocket and the least favorite became the inner pocket. I lined the inner pocket with the purse lining fabric. I have enough squares left over to make a bag for my other niece, but will need to find 1/2 yard of something to line it with.

Update: Thanks for all of the comments. I think this second purse went together faster than the first. It's done with most of the remaing charms in the pack. The more I work with this fabric, the more I see how cute it is -- still not too excited about the colors. The stripe fabric is from my stash.
