quilt I am working on

This quilt is to be a Christmas gift for a brother-in-law. I still have to sew the strips of blocks together and add borders (maybe red and black since those are what he likes). I have given most of my quilts as gifts.
I might get it sewn if I didn't spend so much time on the computer.

I'm trying once more. I finally got it! This is 8 strips out of 17 for the center of my quilt. The strips are ready to sew together. The original pattern came from American Patchwork & Quilting, August 1993; it is called Sticks and Stones by Marti Michell. I reversed the color values in the Nine Patches and the Fence Rail blocks from the original. The basic parts are the same as Eleanor's Stripes and Nine Patch (I think I got it right). ( Correct me if I have it wrong).
