I'm not sure about this one....

This is my French Roses. I like most of it but I'm not sure about the borders. I don't work with pastels much so I'm not sure of the colors for the borders and sashing. What do you think? Problem is, this is a gift for DDs GS leader, who likes pastels, and I really don't have time to change it. Do you think it's okay or should I take the borders off and just use that fabric for the binding?

It is a really cute quilt--I wouldn't change a thing!!! You have alot of different fabrics in the flowers, so the uniform sashing fabric and the uniform border fabric give it stability....I would finish it up and be delighted--the person that will receive this great gift will be happy, happy!!

I feel better about it now, thank you all very much. I have the backing pieced and ready to go so I plan to get it pin-basted tomorrow. DH and I recovered my big ironing board tonight so I'll have a nce fresh surface to work on to finish the quilt.
