Quick Trip - United We Stand

I am so excited!! I finished the top. I just have to share. I love it. You might say this is my first quilt. Sort of. It is for our Marine Son!
I have never made a quilt this size. The ones I've done are small lap size using only the width of fabric (44) and about 1 1/2 yard long. This said lap, but heck it came out 53 x 77!

how lovely! the colors are so nice and appropriate for a Marine. I am sure he will love, and since this is your first large quilt it makes it even more special for him.

What a great job! He should love it! I love the red, white and blue theme.
