We only have 3 weeks of Spring, then it is just hot, hot, hot for 6 months. This is how it looks right now.

Beautiful roses! I also love spring but you're right, soon it will be the "horrible hots" of summer. We've had a little preview the last few days with 95+ temps. UGH!

My mother always had such beautiful flowers when we lived in Sacrameto. Roses in the backyard and exquisite lilys on the side of the house and a fantastic garden with tons of tomatoes. Ah, the good life!

Beautiful flowers! Do those roses smell as good as they look?? I miss having roses...they were one of the few plants that thrived under my care...well maybe not thrived, but looked really good. :)

What beautiful flowers!! Spring is a lovely time of the year.
The rose bush is so pretty and I had never seen a Crown of Thorns before. Thanks for sharing these pictures. I do hope to visit California someday; my parents have.

Oh wow!!! Such beautiful roses! Irises and crown of thorns also!

Here we can start to see the tulips and daffodils. On some trees, we can see the buds coming out. My lilacs, we can see a tiny bit of green and on 2 of my rosebushes. :-)

I'm looking forward to seeing flowers again. The grass here is just turning green after a very long & harsh winter. Thanks for sharing those!!

So pretty...! I'm jealous, it's supposed to go down into the 20's here tonight. I had to bring my herb planter inside for the night.
