Apple Stars - my latest project

I posted these under techniques discussion because I'm having some problems making the geese. These are samples for another project that I don't have enough of to use up on errors. So, I thought I'd make these. I've made about 5 or 6 so far that will be made into either wall hangings or pot warmers.

Changed to geese instead of all those HST and smaller pieces!




Aurora gave her approval on the first block! But it was too small and I needed to be able to see the apples a little better so I went back to the drawing board and used the geese. That block turned out to be too big so I'm back to the drawing board again!

The blocks are great. I love the apples. What are you planning to make besides potholders and wallhangings?

Jan, these are all so cute! I think I like the star with the geese best because the large center square really shows off that pretty apple print. Nice work!
