Pattern Box

Here is a pattern box or FQ box I did up today. What do you think?

Not completely done still have to do a strap just trying to decide what kind? The box measures 12" x 9 1/2" x 7 1/2" tall.

Wow! Did you piece all the fabrics together or is it "cheater" fabric (fabric printed to look like a quilt)? Either way, I love the colors and what a handy thing to have! Nice gift for other crafters as well.

Oh I forgot its Cheater Fabric that was given to me.

My 38 year old sewing machine could not piece with out going froggie, but can whip out the boxes anyway.

I'm really glad you shared this project. I never knew that Simplicity sold quilt patterns. Next time they're on a great sale I'll buy some.

I love it... I have always wanted to try to make fabric bowls but I can see the box is better yet... hmmmmm could make a wedding momento one....
