Batik Quilt Complete - Binding and all

DH was away for the weekend and I was actually productive. I got the binding on my batik quilt last night and hand sewed one side before bed. Got right up this morning and didn't stop until I was done. I still have some threads to clip here and there. A friend had gotten me started on this fabric over Christmas when she gave me a FQ bundle of it. I was seeing her today for Easter dinner and I wanted to show it to her finished. She loved it but it's a keeper. Finally I am going to keep one. LOL

Beautiful. I love the colors. The quilting is lovely. Did you do that on your Quilters Choice? If so, you give me hope.

Thanks Nancy. No, I have a long arm. An HQ 16 and that's what I used for the quilting.

that is so very pretty. when I look at Batiks, they just don't strike me, but when I see something all finished---well I just may have to expand my horizons a little and try some batiks!
