I made QIAD's Pioneer Sampler through the BOM here :) When I had 3 blocks left to do I started quilting 1 block at a time, just stitch in the ditch, you pull the backing to the front to finish the block, sort of like the fun and done method (thank you Amie for sharing this website)

Beautiful! I like the fabrics you chose and your pieced back. I need to start doing my backs like that-mine are so boring! I'll have to check into the quilting method you mentioned. What's the website that you were referred to? I would love to quilt just one block at a time. You did a great job on this quilt!

Thank You for your compliments :)
This is the website that I took my inspiration from, I cut my batting about two inches bigger on each side and my backing was cut 18 1/2, after I finished quilting the block I squared up the batting leaving 3/4 of a inch hanging out (make sure your backing is out of the way when you trim your batting), then the assembly was done like they show in the video

Littlebit- Your quilt turned out soooo nice. I guess you win the prize! I still have 3 squares to go. Your backing and quilt as you go sounds so interesting. Alas, mine will be the traditional solid back and be sent off to the LA for quilting. Thanks for sharing!!!!!
