1st Birthday Table Runner

I made this table runner for a friend's granddaughter who is celebrating her first birthday.

I modified their pattern as follows:
Made my presents smaller and only used 6 per side
Eliminated the circles on the ends
Made a 3 layer cake and added birthday candle
Shortened the length to 54 inches
Added the ribbons/streamers in the center.

Looking back on it, I wish I would have created numbers 1 - 16 that could be attached/removed using velcro

The runner was quilted by outlining presents, cake and streamers with a stipple everywhere else.
