Quilt in a Day Forums

I got the top together this evening and now I have to figure out how I am going to quilt it! That's tomorrow's fun. I really liked working with the batik fabrics. There is so little slipping - the fabrics just kind of stick to each other - when piecing I hardly pinned anything at all until I was putting the rows together. And bonus, the whole thing was SUPER easy.

Oh, it's beautiful (jumping up and down). I love batiks. You did a wonderful job putting this together. I just love it.

Michelle.......that is absolutely gorgeous! Please post a pic when you're done with the quilting. I've got lots of batiks that are just waiting for a project like this.

Very pretty! Those are the prettiest batiks I've seen. Maybe I'll have to give them a try. You get your projects done quick-very admirable...I used to be like that.

Your splashes of subtle blues and pinks add a perfect touch to your shades of cream & tan batiks. It's a beauty!
