First Batik Block Built

Wow, the Bento Box pattern is super easy. It goes together really fast. The real fun of doing this is that you use a lot of different fabrics and arranging all the pieces is a lot of fun. Here is block 1. DH is already asking if we can keep this one for us! LOL

Such a pretty color combo. How big is one block? Are you making a lap quilt or a bed size one? Looks like fun to put together and use up a lot of odds and ends. I agree with your DH. Looks like a keeper to me too. Thanks for sharing. Very nice job on placing the squares and forming a wonderful overall look.

Very very nice! I absolutely love batiks. Your DH is right, it is a keeper for sure. What design will you quilt it with?
