Starting to quilt my UFO/WIP

Post by SewSew » Tue Feb 19, 2008 8:09 am

I've got it all pinned and sitting in my machine to start quilting. I'm not sure what the quilting will be, I will decided as I go along, center will probably stitch in the ditch or outline.

ohhhhhh, I love your sewing room!

Looks like you'll be able to handle that large quilt with your machine. What machine is it?

You're definately going to finish this W.I.P. soon. Great job.

WOOHOO Sew Sew - can't wait to see it finished.

Do you use quilting gloves? I haven't had mine long - don't know how I got along without them. I use the F & P gloves.

Beautiful quilt. Uou are braver than me, I still send them out to a longarm quilter. I enjoy the piecing so much I don't want to spend time trying to do what looks to be impossible and time consuming. I love the machine, is it the Babylock, Esquire? I have the Elna Quilters Pro 7200 and keep looking at the Babylock, just not sure. What sold me the most is the sewing from side to side, if its the one I think it is.

Your quilt is beautiful! But, just looking at the quilting set up makes me want to go hug and kiss my frame. I just couldn't quilt like that again. When you get your new system set up, you'll wonder why you waited-I promise. The quilt is fabulous though and looks very happy laid up there like that! Amie :o)
