measuring in at 109" sq. it was too big to get in a whole picture frame because there wasn't enough room to back up anymore in the house. This was part of my personal challenge last year to use up a whole bolt of fabric that I had bought over 15 years ago because it was a 'good deal'. My hubby wanted to do our bedroom in dark green, and this was dark green, okay, more so it was an army green instead of forest green. Well, needless to say he was not thrilled with it so I have held on to it. I decided that I would use some of this in every quilt I made until it was gone. I was surprised that it only took three quilts with this as the dominant fabric.
Here is the first quilt I made with it. This is the one that the back faded on!
This is the second quilt
And this is the quilt that had the original diamond blocks in it. I made the monster while playing around with left over diamond blocks
This helped me learn that any fabric can be used, I just have to find the right quilt for it. I still have a bunch of fabric to use up, but none with as much yardage as this army green.
