quilter78 sent me the how to's because she couldn't find her pattern or didn't know if she still had it or where she had gotten the pattern. She has been making these for a long time so she just sent me the measurements of the circles that it takes with a general idea how to fold them and put this together. I have been searching the web to see if I can find the pattern, but so far, Google has not led me to it. I saw similar flowers on one site that had tons of pincushions on display for a competition they were having. So, what do we do? Keep searching? or share what quilter78 knows how to do? Help!! We surely don't want to infringe on copyrights and I did want to use this for a quilt guild project, so if anyone finds the pattern on line somewhere, please let us know so we can do the right thing. There are so many patterns out there floating on "free pincushion patterns", but haven't seen this one yet.
I believe we no longer need to worry about copyright laws because Inka just sent me a page from a German website with the diagram for putting these petals and leaves together!! Thanks for all the compliments and thanks to quilter 78 for sharing her pattern and directions for cutting with all of us. I expect to see lots of pictures of pincushions on here as I have e-mailed alot of directions. Thanks for the great response...these are the cutest I have seen also. How fun to share with everyone!!
I AM POSTING THE PATTERN ON THE "QUILTING AND FABRIC DISCUSSION" THREAD.
So glad so many of you have contacted me for this pattern, but this will make it easier to get so you don't have to reach me personally with your e-mail addresses. You can copy and paste it to your own files or just print it right off the page. Happy quilting!
