Wow, really a dramatic difference! Would it work on the gold part also? It's pretty the way it is, just wondering. Or maybe use El's technique in the old maid's puzzle where you appliqué a circle on a square then quarter it.

I just love the look! I'm going to have to learn this technique!

I fairly new to this site. What is the peeled back method. I see the difference, but don't understand what it is.

Caroline that is really nice. It actually looks like a rounded tulip. If you decide to try it on the yellow part, please post a picture again so we can see it. Very very pretty.
