Wow, really a dramatic difference! Would it work on the gold part also? It's pretty the way it is, just wondering. Or maybe use El's technique in the old maid's puzzle where you appliqué a circle on a square then quarter it.

I just love the look! I'm going to have to learn this technique!

I like them both a lot but I'm with Nancy what is a peel back. How ever it is done the colors are beautiful. Carol
