Log Cabin Baby Quilt

Post by tcbeginner » Sat Jan 05, 2008 9:29 am

I feel I am always in need of constructive criticism. This is the first baby quilt top and log cabin pattern I’ve done. I am not overly pleased with it; the corners appear pulled/puckered. I tried to correct that with pressing and the thread tension but that didn't help. I’m sure after it’s quilted no one will be able to tell.

I think it is darling and I don't see any puckers. What size center block did you use and what size logs? I think it is very, very cute.

The center square is 4 1/2 and the logs are 1 1/2 wide. Thanks for the compliments everyone!

That is one cute quilt! I love the soft colors and the sleeping Winnie the Pooh characters are so cute. I love it!!!
